Yes. Nova is free to download and use. A guest mode lets you explore all core features without signing in. Optional premium upgrades including an ad-free experience, Pro membership, and cosmetic items are available through Google Play Billing.

Nova requires Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher. For the best experience with all features, we recommend Android 10 or later.

Open the Home (Dashboard) screen and tap the Start Workout button, or tap any scheduled session in your Plan tab. During the session you can log exercises, sets, reps, weight, and duration. Your personal records are tracked automatically.

Yes. Head to the Plan tab and tap Create Routine. You can add any exercises, set the number of sets and reps, and schedule sessions to specific days of the week. Routines can be reused, edited, or duplicated at any time.

Yes. Nova monitors every exercise log and automatically flags a new personal record when you beat your previous best weight or rep count. Your PRs are displayed in the PR Hall of Fame on your profile and can be compared with friends on the leaderboard.

Yes. Navigate to your Profile and tap Body Progress to log weight, body fat percentage, and measurements. Nova plots these over time in visual charts so you can see your transformation at a glance.

Yes. Nova integrates with your device's step sensor. Your daily step count syncs automatically and can trigger movement-based daily quests. You can also manually log cardio sessions like runs, cycles, or swims.

Nova uses secure Google Sign-In for account registration. Open the app, tap Sign in with Google, and select your Google account. Your profile is created instantly and your data is securely backed up to the cloud.

Yes. Tap Continue as Guest on the login screen to explore Nova without an account. Your data is stored locally on your device. When you are ready, you can link a Google account from Settings and all your guest data will be seamlessly transferred to the cloud with nothing lost.

Yes. Once signed in with Google, Nova automatically syncs your workouts, habits, quests, body metrics, personal records, and settings to Firebase in real time. Your data is protected and accessible from any device you sign into.

You can request account deletion through the Delete Account page on this website, or by emailing support@novastore.co.za. Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our servers within 30 days.

Yes. Simply sign in with the same Google account on any Android device and all your data syncs automatically via cloud backup.

Daily quests are personalized challenges generated each day based on your active goals, scheduled workouts, and habit priorities. Completing quests earns Nova XP, maintains your streak, and unlocks daily reward chests.

Nova XP is the unified experience point system that tracks your overall fitness progress. You earn XP by completing daily quests, logging workouts and exercises, maintaining habit streaks, hitting personal records, and opening daily reward chests. Accumulating XP levels up your profile and unlocks new cosmetic rewards.

Missing a day resets your active quest streak back to zero. Your total XP and level are never lost. Nova is designed to encourage consistency, not punish setbacks. You can always start a fresh streak the very next day.

Yes. You can reroll individual quests once per day at no cost. Additional rerolls may consume Nova Credits depending on your plan. Quest difficulty and variety scale to your current goals and fitness level over time.

Nova's in-app store offers Nova Credits (premium in-app currency for cosmetic items and rerolls), a Pro Membership (ad-free experience and expanded features), and cosmetic items including profile borders, portraits, and display badges. All purchases are optional as the core fitness tracking experience is entirely free.

All payments are processed securely through Google Play Billing. Nova never stores your payment details. All transactions are handled natively by Google and protected by their security infrastructure.

Refund requests for Google Play purchases are handled through Google Play's order history. For issues specifically related to Nova Credits or items not delivered, contact us at support@novastore.co.za.

No. Nova Credits never expire as long as your account remains active. Credits are tied to your Google account and sync across devices.

Nova collects your Google profile data (name, email, profile image, and unique ID for account identification only), fitness and habit logs (workouts, body metrics, habits, and quest history), and basic usage data (app interactions, device type, and crash diagnostics via Firebase). We never sell your data to third parties. See our full Privacy Policy for details.

Your private fitness data including workouts, habits, and body metrics is never shared with third parties. Only your public profile information such as display name, level, XP, and PRs you choose to share are visible to friends and on leaderboards.

You can delete your account directly in the app by going to Settings, then Danger Zone, then Delete Account. Visit our Delete Account page for full details on what gets removed. For a full data export or any privacy-related enquiry, email support@novastore.co.za. All requests are processed within 30 days in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

The free version of Nova may display ads served via Google Mobile Ads. Ads can be removed by purchasing the Pro membership or an ad-free upgrade through the in-app store. Nova's ad implementation complies with Google Play's advertising policies.
